While the one-dollar flip-flop may be cute, Old Navy activewear is where this store excels. This is because all the other stuff in my closet is getting dusty. Jeans? Jeans? I don’t think so. Heels? My sneakers are more comfortable and can be worn with any outfit (even dresses). Athleisure will still be the hottest trend in 2020, regardless of trends forecasts. Although biker shorts will be gone by the end of summer, stylish jogger pants will continue to dominate the market. My Old Navy shorts will soon be replaced with Old Navy sweat pants and yoga pants.
While I do occasionally purchase expensive workout clothes, my sneaker selection is often well-thought out and usually my most expensive investment. However, I have never spent more than I can afford on a pair of leggings. Why? Why? It’s not just for designer labels. I admit that I am a sucker for Old Navy discount codes all the time. Anyone who has received their emails will know that the coupons never expire. This is a double-edged weapon for those on a tight budget. Old Navy activewear has a unique appeal. It’s supportive and comfortable enough to wear during workouts but also versatile enough to be worn when you don’t have to sweat.
A pair of compression shorts is my favorite because they don’t ride up my backside, and make my back look great. I have tried other shorts, but these are the best. They don’t distract me while I work out and boost my confidence. It is durable and still feels new even after being washed several times throughout the summer. Pockets are another major plus! It would be surprising how many compression shorts do not have pockets, but this is not the case with these.
My keys are no longer in my hand when I run, which allows me to use my arms to improve my posture. I love the 8-inch shorts, but I also have shorter 5-inch shorts. They are equally as enticing.
The sports bras section is literally what has kept me braless this year. Because it keeps my girls in place, and because the back is criss-crossed, the high-support bra has been my favorite for running. It does the job, so I can put my energy into working out and not worrying about what I look like.
My work-from-home uniform includes low-support bras. You can wear it under a shirt or top depending on what you’re wearing on the bottom. The smooth material won’t make you look obvious that you’re wearing a sports bra. Although I do wear them in the house, with sweats, or while running errands, they are comfortable and work well.
Because fall is almost here (! Because fall is already upon us, I have started mixing and matching my tops with my scalloped legs because they go well with everything. Can you see why my wardrobe has become full of athleisure with a new work-from home schedule and school-fromhome schedule? Okay, maybe I’m just a bit lazy. Unexpectedly, I found a cheaper alternative to old navy activewear Lululemon
- As I was walking down Sixth Avenue, Manhattan, I noticed a blast from my past.
- I looked in the window of the store and tried to recall old navy activewear the last time I visited Old Navy.
- I was curious and decided to take a quick look for five minutes.
What I found was fascinating and totally unexpected
- As I passed the back-to school outfits for children and the jeans, I noticed the activewear section at the back.
- It was almost as if I had walked into another store with a different selection of products.
- They were very well-designed, including the yoga pants, sports bras, and sneakers. They were very cool.
- I began to browse through the products, feeling the fabric, and then I thought, “This is easily comparable with Nike or Lululemon.”
They were also affordable
The price of compression crop pants, which are nearly identical to Lululemon’s overpriced Lululemon, was just $18, only a fraction of what the yoga retailer charges.
It was a new world
I started to look through the other items. $12 for a top that looked exactly like the one I have from Lululemon. $24 for sneakers without an obnoxious label. $24 for a stylish quarter-zip pullover.
Inspired by my discovery, I began to research Old Navy’s activewear collection. Jill Stanton, the current interim CEO of Old Navy and EVP for global product at Old Navy, is much to be credited for the recent transformation.
Stanton joined Old Navy as a vice president and general manger of global apparel for 14 years. Old Navy’s competitiveness in the market has been made possible by her experience at Nike.
Old Navy has seen a noticeable increase in sales since 2012, with Stanton’s addition and Stefan Larsson, the former CEO of Old Navy. Old Navy saw a 5% increase in same-store sales last year while Banana Republic sales fell by 5% and Gap sales rose by 5%.
Old Navy’s active wear ad campaign is called “Built for Play”. It is aimed at families and is in keeping with Gap Inc.’s values.
